Rescue, rehabilitate and find loving, permanent homes for homeless dogs, with volunteer-run, foster-based care serving Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
K9 Kismet is an all-volunteer, foster-based 501(c)(3) dog rescue headquartered in Long Beach, serving the LA/OC area. Every rescued dog lives in a temporary foster home while it is matched with an adopter. The site offers an adoptable dogs list and adoption application, foster sign-up and volunteer roles supporting fostering and events. A secondary mission helps pet owners keep their animals through help with medical care, food and supplies when funds allow.
