Isabel Amaya Foundation

Long Beach, CA · Los Angeles County · Human Services

The Isabel Amaya Foundation works to uplift low-income and at-risk infants, children, and youth under 18 years of age in Long Beach, CA (and San Antonio, TX), building toward a childcare center in Long Beach.

Founded by Jasmine Castro Amaya in honor of her grandmother Isabel Amaya, the foundation grew out of a family network of in-home childcare daycares operated in Long Beach from 2016-2022. It aims to provide comprehensive after-school care, childcare, and educational support for low-income and at-risk children and youth, fostering a nurturing environment for holistic development.
