Innercity Struggle
Los Angeles, CA · Los Angeles County · Human Services
InnerCity Struggle organizes to build a powerful and influential movement of youth and families on the Eastside of Los Angeles (Boyle Heights, unincorporated East LA, El Sereno, and Lincoln Heights) to promote healthy, safe, and nonviolent communities.
Founded in 1994 by parents and students in Boyle Heights, InnerCity Struggle trains youth leaders through its United Students program, organizing high school-aged youth for civic engagement and policy campaigns, alongside broader community organizing on safety, education, and immigrant rights issues on LA's Eastside.
