HIRE connects justice-involved people of any age or conviction type with jobs, training, support and employers to build pathways to employment and successful reentry in Orange County.
HIRE (Hub for Reentry & Employment) is Orange County's employment-focused reentry organization. It offers job readiness and training, direct employer connections and job placement, referrals for shelter, legal aid and financial literacy, weekly peer support and 1:1 therapy/counseling led by professionals, and TIME youth mentorship for justice-involved youth. It partners with employers on inclusive hiring, hosts the county's largest Reentry Resource Fair, and reports 4,451 people served since 2020 with a 72% job placement rate. Volunteers and employers can get involved through the site.
