House of Hope helps women regain their lives, spirit, and purpose through high quality drug and alcohol treatment in a warm, nurturing environment where recovery can begin.
Founded in 1955 and located in San Pedro in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, House of Hope is a community of drug and alcohol treatment professionals dedicated to helping women recover. Programs include residential treatment, an outpatient program, continuing care, sober living and independent living for graduates, built on the 12-step philosophy with individual and family counseling and groups on anger management, PTSD, grief and loss, relapse prevention, parenting, and domestic violence prevention. The organization is DHCS licensed and CARF accredited, and hosts community fundraising events such as an annual talent show.
