Great Beginnings For Black Babies Inc

Great Beginnings for Black Babies works to reduce Black infant and maternal mortality by encouraging early and continuous prenatal care, healthy lifestyles, and healthy family outcomes for babies, children, and women of color in the South Bay and greater Los Angeles area.

Founded in 1990, GBBB provides personalized support to pregnant and parenting women and their infants up to 12 months old, including perinatal, parenting, and nutrition education; preventive education; support groups and mentorship to strengthen families; and a fatherhood program equipping fathers with skills to support their children. The organization is based in downtown Inglewood and serves the South Bay and greater Los Angeles region.
