Since 2008, Fristers has helped teen and young parents (ages 13-25) in Orange County build healthy, stable lives and families through educational classes, mentoring, and case management.
Founded in 2008 after its founder began mentoring high-school girls at a local Irvine church and encountered widespread teen-pregnancy needs, Fristers walks alongside adolescent and young parents. The organization runs weekly programming, one-on-one mentoring, and case management, including its LifeCoach program, which helps young mothers strengthen mental health, build parenting skills, complete high school (or its equivalent), prepare for employment, and build healthy relationships. Fristers serves more than 250 families annually.
