FoLAR builds capacity for communities, students, and future leaders to advocate for nature, climate, and equity on the Los Angeles River.

Friends of the Los Angeles River is a nonprofit dedicated to the restoration, protection, and enjoyment of the LA River through community organizing, habitat restoration, environmental education, advocacy, and public greening events such as river cleanups and native plantings.
