Free Wheelchair Mission

Free Wheelchair Mission is a faith-based humanitarian nonprofit headquartered in Irvine that provides wheelchairs at no cost to people with disabilities in developing countries; it is not a local direct-service provider for Orange County residents. It designs low-cost wheelchairs (including the GEN 3 and GEN 4 models) that are shipped by container and assembled and distributed by partner organizations in recipient countries. The organization has delivered over 1.5 million wheelchairs across 95 countries, funded by individual, corporate, church, and foundation donations.
