Families Uniting Families recruits, trains, and supports foster and adoptive families for children and youth in the LA County foster care system, with a historic focus on older youth ages 14-21 who are often overlooked by other providers. Programs include foster care and adoption services, Project Fatherhood (a parenting support group that has served 1,500 fathers), and professional internship opportunities for university students; the organization has supported 120+ college graduates from foster care.
