EDUCATE Long Beach is a California 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation operating free/low-cost preschool programs for children ages 3-5 in a dual-language (English/Spanish) learning environment, along with kindergarten-readiness curriculum and free parenting classes. It owns and operates Un Mundo de Amigos Preschool at two Central Long Beach locations serving 150+ children annually, in a community where over 55% of residents live below the poverty line; more than 1,400 children have graduated kindergarten-ready through the program.
