Community Youth Orchestra Of Southern California

To provide innovative, accessible music education programs and opportunities for young musicians of all ages and skill levels across Orange County, fostering community and unity among diverse backgrounds.

Founded in 1990, CYOSC serves students from the Irvine Unified School District and over a dozen other Orange County school districts through four performing groups: the Academy Program (Pre/K-4), two intermediate string groups (Sinfonietta and Sinfonia), and the flagship Symphony ensemble. Pre-pandemic enrollment exceeded 150 students annually.
