CDCLA provides high-quality, affordable early education and child care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers throughout greater Los Angeles County, regardless of family income, while supporting the professional development of early childhood educators.

Established as a nonprofit corporation in 1978 by early childhood educators, CDCLA operates Early Education Centers and Family Child Care Homes across greater Los Angeles County, serving children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Centers are located in Downtown Los Angeles, East Los Angeles, South Los Angeles, Lomita, and the San Fernando Valley (Van Nuys). CDCLA also offers consulting services to corporations and child development programs and parent education.
