CODIE's mission is to ensure equal access of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community to the same opportunities afforded their hearing counterparts, promoting the social, recreational, cultural, educational, and vocational welfare of its Deaf and Hard of Hearing constituents.

Center On Deafness Inland Empire (CODIE), founded in 1994 (originally GLAD-IC) and a subsidiary of the Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness (GLAD), directly serves the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Services include interpreting requests, CalFresh application assistance, food distribution, rental/housing and utilities assistance, tenant's rights advocacy, family outreach advocacy, and employment assistance.
