Cancer Kinship guides cancer patients through and after treatment, helping them regain control of their lives and well-being and reducing their risk of disease recurrence.
Cancer Kinship connects newly-diagnosed patients and survivors with a peer mentor (a 'cancer veteran') for individualized guidance, offers survivor empowerment and education programs to address the long-term physical, emotional, and psychosocial effects of cancer, and runs a survivor network and wellness/socialization programs. It operates out of the Melinda Hoag Smith Center for Healthy Living (307 Placentia Ave, Newport Beach) and The Hive of Anaheim.
