Boyle Heights Historical Society

BHHS's mission is to engage the public's interest to collect, preserve, appreciate, and share knowledge relevant to the diverse social, ethnic, cultural, geographic, and architectural heritage of the Los Angeles neighborhood of Boyle Heights, founded in the 1870s.

The Boyle Heights Historical Society is a volunteer-run organization of past and current residents formed in 2005 to research and share the history of the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. It publishes historical articles and blog posts, honors local historians, and hosts community events celebrating the neighborhood's diverse immigrant heritage.
