Boyle Heights Arts Conservatory

Creating pathways into creative careers for youth and emerging artists through hands-on training, paid work experience, mentorship, and access to creative tools, offered at no cost to participants.

Founded in 2011, Boyle Heights Arts Conservatory (BHAC) builds inclusive creative-industry pathways for Black, Brown, and Indigenous youth historically denied access to arts and media careers. Programs include the Mural Workforce Academy, Bridge Academy Movement, KQBH 101.5 FM community radio, Native American & Indigenous initiatives, teaching-artist training, and paid summer internships across Los Angeles County.
