Black Muslim Girl Fly

Uplift Black Muslim women and girls by providing platforms for amplification of their unique narratives and the empowerment of their success across all industries.

Founded in February 2018 and based in Los Angeles, the organization runs the annual #BlackMuslimGirlFly Film Festival, an event of film showcases profiling stories by Black Muslim women and girl filmmakers and creative talent in film, television, and digital media. Beyond the festival, the organization provides resources, skills-building, and fellowship to help Black Muslim women and girls build power, network with industry professionals, and access opportunities in the mainstream entertainment industry.
