Assistance League of Irvine is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to providing programs and services that enrich and improve the quality of life in the Irvine community — 'Transforming Lives, Strengthening Community' — since its founding in 1990.
Assistance League of Irvine has over 110 members and community volunteers plus 140 middle and high school teens in its Assisteens auxiliary, logging 24,000+ volunteer hours yearly. Philanthropic programs include Operation School Bell (new school clothes for Irvine Unified School District students), scholarships for local community college students, Family Emergency Support (goods and clothing for domestic violence shelter residents), Vision Care (new glasses for qualified IUSD students), and the Creative Educators Award Grants program.
