Assistance League volunteers transforming the lives of children through community programs.

The Garden Grove chapter of Assistance League, chartered May 20, 1967, is an all-volunteer, member-driven nonprofit. Its philanthropic programs include Operation School Bell, which provides new clothing, shoes, hygiene items and a book to school children referred by the Garden Grove school district, and Guardian Scholars, which gives grants to Golden West College students who have experienced foster care. A chapter thrift store funds the programs. The chapter welcomes new members and volunteers.
