Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy

Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy works to protect, restore, and connect wildlife habitat in the Arroyo Seco and San Gabriel foothills near Pasadena and Altadena, advancing urban land conservation for people and wildlife.

Founded in 2000 as a grassroots group in Altadena, Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy (AFC) has grown into a land trust focused on urban conservation in the San Gabriel foothills. AFC acquires and stewards open space, restores native habitat, builds and maintains trails, and runs community outreach and education programs connecting Pasadena-area residents to local wildlife corridors.
