The Aquarium of the Pacific is a nonprofit public aquarium on Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach, home to a collection of over 12,000 animals across galleries representing Pacific Ocean regions including the Southern California/Baja, Northern Pacific, and Tropical Pacific. It serves as an educational and cultural institution offering exhibits, touch pools, marine mammal habitats, and public programs on ocean science and conservation.
