Animals Rule Rescue (legal name Animals Rule Placement Foundation) is an all-dog 501(c)(3) rescue in San Pedro founded in 2003. Most dogs come from local city and county shelters, plus strays, owner surrenders and abandoned dogs. The rescue provides veterinary care and rehabilitation, promotes spay and neuter, and places dogs through an application-based adoption process, with dogs shown on Saturdays by appointment. Residents can foster, volunteer on site as dog walkers and in other roles (21+, experienced with dogs), donate, and buy items from the supply wish list.
