TARA rescues and finds loving homes for abandoned and abused companion and farm animals and offers sanctuary to those with special needs.

Founded in 2011, The Animal Rescue Alliance (TARA) is a no-kill 501(c)(3) rescue and sanctuary at Rancho Providencia, a four-acre ranch in Chatsworth. TARA rescues cats, dogs, and farm animals (goats, horses, donkeys, parrots, geese), places them in adoptive homes via partner PetSmart locations, and runs a Happily Ever After Trust program providing lifetime care for animals whose owners have passed away.
