To preserve and share the history and contributions of African American firefighters in Los Angeles.
Housed in the former Fire Station No. 30 — the first Los Angeles firehouse staffed entirely by African American firefighters — the museum preserves artifacts and stories documenting the history of Black firefighters in the LAFD.
