Academy Museum Foundation

Academy Museum Foundation supports the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the first major museum dedicated entirely to the art, science, craft, business, and history of film.

The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, operated under the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), opened in 2021 at 6067 Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles. It draws on the Academy's collection of more than 12 million photographs, 190,000 film and video assets, 80,000 screenplays, 61,000 posters, and thousands of production and costume design pieces, offering rotating exhibitions, two theaters, and educational programs on film history and culture.
