Works in partnership with the community to preserve, protect, and enhance the natural resources of the Santa Monica Mountains, maintaining a cooperative relationship between urbanization and native land.

Mountains Restoration Trust runs restoration programs to return natural function to degraded resource lands, education programs and passive recreation to teach the public about natural resources, and land acquisition and management for natural resource protection. Public offerings include nature walks, rattlesnake avoidance training, youth naturalist programs, summer camps, and senior programs.
