Las Fotos Project's mission is to elevate the voices of teenage girls and gender-expansive youth from communities of color through photography and mentoring, empowering them to channel their creativity for themselves, their community, and future careers.
Las Fotos Project offers free 12-week photography mentoring courses for teen girls and gender-expansive youth in Los Angeles covering self-exploration and self-portraiture, photojournalism documenting community issues, and creative entrepreneurial skills, connecting participants with paid photography jobs. Over 2,000 young artists have completed the program.
