Dedicated to preserving Japanese American heritage, promoting civil rights, and strengthening community connections across generations throughout the South Bay area of Los Angeles County.
The South Bay chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL), established in 1973, serves Japanese American families across the South Bay area including Manhattan Beach, Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, San Pedro, and Long Beach through cultural celebrations, educational history programs, scholarships, and civil rights advocacy.
