Friends of the Family Resource Center supports the Rowland Unified School District Family Resource Center, working to eliminate barriers facing low-income students, students experiencing homelessness, foster youth, and other at-risk students and families in La Puente.
This 501(c)(3) is a community-based, volunteer-driven coalition supporting the Rowland Unified School District's Family Resource Center (operating since 1996). It raises awareness of FRC programs, coordinates volunteers, runs fundraising initiatives (including the 'FRESH START' school-supplies fund providing backpacks, notebooks, and other school essentials), and disburses funds to support vulnerable RUSD students and families in La Puente, CA.
