Debbie Allen Dance Academy is a 501(c)3 nonprofit offering a comprehensive dance curriculum to students ages four and up, with a focus on disenfranchised Black and Latino communities, using dance and theater training and performance to enrich, inspire, and transform the lives of its students.

Founded by choreographer and actress Debbie Allen, the Academy provides dance and theater training for students ages 3 and up through programs including Early Birds, Fundamentals, the Academy track, the invitation-only Red Birds ensemble, the Sons of DADA scholarship program for boys, Rise Musical Theater, Open Classes, a pre-professional Ensemble, a Conservatory Program in classical ballet and modern dance, summer intensives, and a Middle School for the Arts (grades 6-8). Students study Ballet, Contemporary, Dunham, Flamenco, Hip Hop, Jazz, African, Latin Fusion, Modern, and Tap, with an emphasis on serving disenfranchised Black and Latino youth in Los Angeles.
