American Contemporary Ballet's mission is to produce and present choreographic works of the highest quality that exemplify ballet as a musical art form, providing new insight into and unparalleled engagement with the art for today's audiences.
American Contemporary Ballet (ACB) is a Los Angeles-based professional ballet company, the only one in LA to perform exclusively to live music. Founded by choreographer Lincoln Jones in New York in 2003 and relocated to Los Angeles in 2011, ACB presents original contemporary ballets alongside historical masterworks in an intimate, stage-level setting, performing over 60 shows annually and offering educational programming through its Conversations and Dancing School initiatives.
