24th Street Theatre blends professional productions and world-class artists with quality arts education to engage, educate and provoke young people and their families through excellent theatre.
Founded in 1997 in the University Park neighborhood near USC, 24th Street Theatre is one of the only professional LA theatres offering after-school arts programming for elementary school children, and one of the few organizations approved by both LAUSD and the LA County Arts Commission as an arts-education provider. The company also presents professional theatrical productions for general audiences and maintains a bilingual community-resources page (English/Spanish) for immigrant families in the surrounding neighborhood.
