Foster sustainable community to support the well-being, empowerment, and self-determination of food and housing-insecure residents by providing nutritious food, hygiene products, clothing, and basic essentials along with educational resources.
Long Beach Community Table (LBCT), founded in 2018, is a 501(c)3 mutual-aid cooperative distributing 100% free fresh food, hygiene items, and clothing to vulnerable Long Beach communities, serving roughly 7,000 people weekly with no application, ID, or appointment required. It also runs a gardening program teaching food self-sufficiency and delivers food to about 600 households weekly via its warehouse at 151 W Victoria St.
