AFS is a key resource to compassionately address food insecurity in greater Long Beach, providing food to people with food insecurity, those infected or affected by HIV/AIDS, the LGBTQ community, and the discounted, disconnected, and disregarded.
Long Beach's longest-serving HIV/AIDS food provider, founded in 1985 by a group from Christ Chapel Long Beach. An all-volunteer, no-government-funding organization that distributes groceries on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month to clients living with or affected by HIV/AIDS whose income is $1,500/month or less.
